Player controls and catalogue depend on your current app and account.

Check the exact Kodi edition, device support, account format and first-playback result for an Team 8K account.

Confirm the third-party player first

Kodi is a separate player option. Check its current developer source, supported operating system and exact installed edition. This page does not claim that every release or every device is supported.

The service account and a developer app licence are separate. Ask support whether the issued account format is accepted by your installed version before buying a separate licence or importing a complete playlist.

Use the account route that the installed edition provides

If the player provides server, username and password fields, use only the corresponding issued details. If it expects a playlist, portal or device identifier, ask for that format instead. Similar names do not make account formats interchangeable.

Keep the full access details private. Inspect the selected account and connection allowance before moving between devices; a successful import is not the same as a successful playback test.

A first-session acceptance test

Treat first setup as a small acceptance test. Signing in proves that the account can reach a service entry point, but it does not prove that the device can decode every source. Loading a catalogue proves that some account data arrived, but it does not prove that a selected channel is currently playable. Keep those milestones separate in your notes.

Use one ordinary live source and one short on-demand item as a baseline. Watch the live source long enough to notice a repeated interruption, then test pause and seek on the on-demand item. Check the selected output and any language track that you actually need. If a control is absent in the player, record that limitation rather than inventing an Android menu path for a different platform.

Only after that baseline works should you spend time arranging favourites, hiding categories or importing extra guide sources. This order reduces the amount of local setup you could lose if you later need another compatible player. Keep the account details privately and note how the installed application stores its local preferences.

Record the version when asking for help

Use WhatsApp +44 7532 814802 or support@8kiptv.io. Include Kodi, installed version, exact model, operating system, accepted login format and the visible symptom. Conceal passwords and complete playlist links.

For current app availability, installation or licensing, check the verified developer route. For account status, expiry or a supplied source, use the service support route. Keep those questions separate so the right part of the setup is checked.
